Olympic fencing champion Gutzeit headed the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine

Olympic fencing champion Vadim Gutzeit led the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to divide the Ministry of culture , youth and sports into separate departments, as it was before August 2019.

Gutzeit, 48, is Vice-President of the fencing Federation of Ukraine and a member of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

In Barcelona-1992, he won gold in the team event in sabre fencing. He also won silver and bronze at the 1991 world Championships .
